With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Esta Rankin Jacobs (Loris, South Carolina), who passed away on April 21, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wilson Rankin, Jr. and Esta Mae Norris Rankin; her husband David S. Jacobs; and her brother Frederick Ross Rankin. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Brooks Jacobs Randone (Steve), Tracie Jacobs Raulerson (Anthony) and Kristen Suzann Jacobs (Sara); her grandchildren, Mary Hannah Riley, Jacob Scott Riley, David Gage Raulerson, Bentley Gray Randone and Adam Eagle; her sister-in-law Dianna Rankin; and her pets, Lucy, Frankie, Baby, Sammy Jo, Abigail, Camo, Ducky, Chocolate and Ginger.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hardwick Funeral Home (4831 Main St, Loris, SC 29569). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hardwick Memorial Chapel (4831 Main St, Loris, SC 29569).
