She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pinkney McDowell and Callie Floyd McDowell; her siblings, Liston McDowell (Elouise), Vergie Boyd (Clyde), Vernice Boyd (Robert), Ethel Elvington (Harry), Bonnie Lupo (Wyman) and Pat Culler; and her brother-in-law Bill Stevens.
She is survived by: her husband C. C. Gore, III; her sons, Chris Gore (Melinda) of Little River, SC and Mark Gore (Wendy) of Lexington, SC; her grandchildren, Ashley Roach (Shane), Ali Gore, Ann Elizabeth Price (Nathan) and Abby Murphy (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Kamden Gore, Cain Roach, Sawyer Roach, Sadie Price and Riley Murphy; her sister Eunice Stevens; and her brother-in-law Joe Culler, Sr..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel (1011 SC-9 Business, Loris, SC 29569). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Twin City Memorial Gardens (1830 US-701 Hwy, Loris, SC 29569).
