He is survived by: his wife Gail Wilson of Longs, SC; his daughter Courtney Thompson of Rock Hill, SC; his stepson Jamie Wilson of Longs, SC; his siblings, Catherine T. "Honey" Bellamy of Longs, SC, Hazel L. Thompson of Little River, SC, Margaret J. Foster of Little River, SC, Jimmy Thompson (Darlene) of Hopewell, VA, Edward "Charles" Thompson (Patrina) of Longs, SC, Heyward Thompson of Utah, Roy Thompson (Belinda) of Louisiana and Freddy Thompson (Marion) of California; his sisters-in-law, Lily Pearl Gerald and Sabrina Benjamin of Longs, SC; his close friends, Ulysses Williams, Lenford Frinks and Virtus Wilson; and his nephew Steven Bellamy of Longs, SC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other numerous relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Thompson will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 in the D. L. Grate Memorial Chapel at United Funeral Home LLC from 4pm-7pm. **DUE TO COVID-19, MASK ARE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY** Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Abigail Cemetery in Longs, SC at 1pm.
