She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Wilson Whittington, Sr. and Salem Cox Whittington; her husband John Edward "Eddie" Jones; and her siblings, Charles E. Whittington, Howard "Bill" Wilson Whittington, Jr., Jean Stevens and Helen Haynes.
She is survived by: her son Hugh Jones (Sammy); her grandsons, Bryson Edward Jones and Leo Mason Jones; and her sister Betty Jo Sawyer. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
