He was predeceased by : his parents, Arris Elwell and Jolie Audrey Poston (Ard); and his siblings, Pete Poston, Eurna Jean Owens, Judy Harter, Patricia Ann Carringer and Emily Faye Westbury.

He is survived by : his wife Velda I. Poston (Morgan); his son Thomas A. E. Poston (Julie); and his stepson Devin Price.
