He is survived by : his sisters, Rosa Lee Swain, Linda Pianka, Virginia Winfrey, Eunice Stukes, Lillie Swain Blake and Brandi Workman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
