It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Leroy Arant of Lugoff, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on June 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Melton and Eleanor Jeffcoat Arant; and his sister Joann Summer. He is survived by: his wife Vada Roberts Arant; his children, Darrell Arant (Georgia) of Louisville, Mark Arant (Candace) of York, Greg Arant of Lugoff and Dr. Denise Sackinger; and his siblings, Melba Cassidy of West Columbia, Mary Davis (Robert) of West Columbia and Athon Arant (Edith) of West Columbia. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Flowers are accepted but memorials may be made to Springvale Baptist Church Building Fund.
