It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae Carraway of Lugoff, South Carolina, born in Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Herbert Gaskins and Emmie Mae Hayes Gaskins; her husband Homer Sylvester Carraway; her children, Tim Carraway (Terri) of Lugoff, Dr. Brent Carraway (Dee) of Sumter, April Garner (Mark) of Lavonia, GA and Jeff Carraway (Chrissy) of Lugoff; her grandchildren, Josh Carraway (Mariah), Justin Carraway (Ally), Kayla Cox (Taylor), Brent Carraway (Curtis-Lynne), Brandon Carraway, Cal Garner, Ryan Garner, Garrett Garner, Alex Carraway and Rylee Carraway; her great grandchildren, Lily Carraway, Faith Carraway, Dallas Carraway, Gray Carraway, Brody Cox and River Garner; and her siblings, Herbert Gaskins, Jr. (Velma), Williene Young, Tommy Lee Gaskins, Jennie Watts (George), Wanda Rogers and Wendy Gaskins.
