He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise Scherer Gunn; his parents, Rial Burton Gunn and Jessie Pauline Stith Gunn; his brothers, Dale Gunn and Wayne Gunn; and his grandson Joey Gunn.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Gunn (Cindy) of Columbia, Kevin Gunn (Nancy) of Dallas, Texas and Shannon Scott (Dave) of Elk Mound, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Cameron Gunn, Ryan Gunn (Zoë), Markus Gunn, Max Gunn and John Scott.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at the Centerville Cemetery (867 State Rd S-20-67, Ridgeway, SC 29130).
