Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Carlene for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her husband John Wiley Boykin, Sr.; and her parents, Carl Moore and Alma Moore. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Boykin Grainger (Billy) and John Wiley Boykin, Jr. (Misty); and her grandchildren, Tyler Grainger (Kassy), Kayla Boykin and Hunter Boykin.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. John Methodist Church (4021 Springhill Rd, Rembert, SC 29128).
