She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin C. Tidwell, Jr.; her parents, Leonard R. McCaskill, Sr. and Marie Parker McCaskill; her daughter Melanie June Tidwell; and her siblings, Leonard McCaskill, Jr., Wesley McCaskill and Sara Boykin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Vivian (Kent Rodgers), Annette (Rick Stancil), Ernestine (David Anderson), Marlene Cook of Concord, N. C. and Pamela Williams of Cassatt. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beaverdam Baptist Church.
