He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Sherman Anders and Dassie Lee Smith Anders; his wife Joyce Ann Anders; his siblings, Della Lewis, Helen Mulenex, Clyde Anders and Harold Anders; and his siblings-in-law, Garland Briley and Laura Anders.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Donald Anders (Jessica James) of Camden, S. C. and Michelle Lynn Anderson (Anthony Anderson, Jr.) of Columbia, S. C.; his siblings, Shelby Martin (Larry) of Kentucky, Ruby Bristo (BJ) of North Carolina, Thelma Briley of North Carolina, Linda Baker (Ron) of North Carolina, Jane Pruden (Mike) of North Carolina and Robert Anders of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Laci Chelle Anderson, Bella Grace Anders, Kaitlyn Marie Anderson, Kyle Jacob Lee Anderson, Kaysen Edward Anderson, Lilly Ann Davis, Violet Marie Davis and Matthew Gabriel Temple; and his great grandchildren, Kolton Lewis Jackson and Beau Alan Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
