He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Capell and Lethea Capell; and his siblings, Nancy Amerson, Larry Capell, June Mathis and Mary Catherine Wescott.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Capell; his children, Steve Capell (Arlene) and Dana Jones (Mark); his grandchildren, Steven Craig Capell (Pam), Magan Teal (Justin), Lauren Barnwell (Jason), Steven Jones (Taylor), Christian Jones (Chelsea) and Elena Cavallo (Marc); and his sister Sue Garvin (George). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
