He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Davis Searcy Sr. and Patty Nabors Searcy; his daughter Carrie Frances Harrison; and his brother Dr. James Robert Searcy. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Davis Searcy; his children, Debbie Searcy Mowry of Willis, TX, Kenny Byrd of Camden and Heather Greenway (Jarrett) of Bethune; and his grandchildren, Kayla Mowry, Jessica Caldwell and Kaleb Roberts.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
