She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Rice, Sr. and Lula Caroline Long Rice; her husband Roy Wallace Harvey; her daughter Lois Aynne Anderson; and her siblings, George W. Rice, Jr., Virginia Mae Hendrix, Doilie Kate Rice and Joseph Jackson Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon H. Hewins of Lugoff, Donna Leigh Dixon (Carl) of Lugoff and Craig Wesley Harvey (Rose) of Lugoff; and her grandchildren, Bryan Hewins (Lauren), Kelly Alkhatib, Gretchen Collingwood (Jason), Meighan Hammett (Jake), Savannah Rose Harvey Anderson (Charles), Gabriel Brent Anderson and Gregory Bryan Anderson (Gloria). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
