It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Faucher in Lugoff, South Carolina, born in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert "Hub" Lamar Altman and Elizabeth "Louise" Altman; and her husband Dennis Faucher. She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Wakefield (Lowell); her nieces, DeAnna Brooks (Shaun), Candace Jackson (Paul) and Laura Lewis (Brooks); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Haylee, Jackson, Hudson, Harrison, Maeve and Eloise; her caregiver Kenny Brown; and her pet Sweetie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Theil-Meyer Pet Adoption Center or the Kershaw County Humane Society.
