He was predeceased by : his parents, Mertis Outlaw and Lois Hopkins Outlaw; and his siblings, Mary Hunter, Shelby Bowen and Brenda Hinson.

He is survived by : his wife Emma "Becky" Outlaw; his children, Rebecca Outlaw of Cassatt, Jamie Outlaw of Cassatt and Ashley Whitaker (Jonathan) of Pacolet; his siblings, Kim Outlaw of Cassatt and Linda Outlaw of Lugoff; and his brothers-in-law, Rock Hinson and Tommy Hunter. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
