She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jacob and Armella Gast Sontag of Pierz; her stepdaughter Deborah Latimer; and her siblings, Agnes Orvis, John and James Sontag.
She is survived by: her significant other Earl Cleveland Breazeale of Elgin; her children, Julie Norris (Jeff) of Lugoff and Jason Thomas (Tiffany) of Cornelius, NC; her stepdaughter Christina Jacobs (Brian) of Jacksonville, FL; her sisters, Cynthia Spinnato (Michael) of Elgin, Sheryl Preacher (James) of Columbia and Deborah Odom (Fleet) of Myrtle Beach; her grandchildren, Jacob Norris (Ella), Benjamin, Collin Thomas, Ashley, Caroline and Blake Latimer; and her great grandchild Harrison Norris.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spring Valley Presbyterian Church (125 Sparkleberry Ln, Columbia, SC 29229). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Debt Reduction Fund at Spring Valley Presbyterian Church, 125 Sparkleberry Lane, Columbia, SC, 29229 or to the Oliver Gospel mission, 1100 Taylor Street, Columbia, SC, 29201.
