He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Tucker McCoy; his daughters, Jewel Ancrum (Johnny) of Hampton, Roshunda McCoy of Lugoff, Melissa McCoy of Lugoff and Jessica DuBose (Rocky) of Lugoff; and his sister Lillie Singletary. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
