He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Oliver and Verlie Dubose Oliver; his son Jimmie Oliver, Jr.; and his siblings, Elizabeth Oliver, Robert Oliver, Pete Oliver, Ben Oliver and Virginia Oliver.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Jefferson Oliver; his daughters, Betty Oliver of Camden and Jennifer Oliver of Camden; and his siblings, Dorothy Mickle and Harman Roseboro. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
