She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Samuel, Jr.; her parents, Kato James and Carolene Jones; her daughter Bernice Lee; her son-in-law Kenneth Dell Robinson; and her siblings, Maggie Hendrick, Fannie Moore, Ella Lee Mobley, Alma Shepherd, Carrie Lee Jones, Robert Lee Jones, Sonny Jones, Daniel Jones, Donald Jones, Robert Jones, Johnny Jones and LeRoy Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Thomasina Gibson of Elgin, SC, Thomas James Samuel (Sheila) of Elgin, SC and Daisy Samuel Robinson of Lugoff, SC; her sister Silvia Cantey (Rosina Cousins); her grandchildren, Shawn L., Shemica L., Brittany G., Paige G., Rhonda S., Narisa E. (JR), Julia M. (Rodney), Christy Q. and Trevino Gibson; and her nieces and nephews, George, Marvin Shepherd, Megan Shephard and Missy Belton (Geraldine Bush). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law; and a host of cousins and friends.
