She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Stokes and Rozene Dority Stokes; her husband Bobby Norman McCaskill; her daughter Barbara Crane; her great grandchild Alyson Crane; her grandson-in-law Eric Marriott; and her siblings, Bobby Stokes and Joyce Spencer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Gwen Cass (Frank) and Wanda Milam; her son-in-law Beverly Crane; her grandchildren, Sonya Marriott, Robert Crane, James Whitaker, Jr., Joseph Crane, Norman Horton and Robert Cass; and her siblings, Iris Latham, Marion McGill, Linda Dillingham, Marlene Deas and Kenneth Stokes. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
