She was predeceased by: her parents, Earlie Stevens and Marie Stevens; her siblings, Margie Price, Lesa Mae Parrott, Maggie German, Robert Stevens and Joseph "Buddy" Stevens; and her brother-in-law Dennis Caulder.
She is survived by: her children, Sonya Rovinski of Camden, SC and Mark Shaylor (Melissa) of Virginia; her sisters, Juanita Caulder of Camden, Louise Newman (Jimmy) of Camden and Ruth Arledge (Sonny) of Camden; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Rovinski, Anthony Rovinski, Zachary Rovinski, Jaidyn Shaylor and Mark Allen Shaylor. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hermitage Baptist Church (814 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Camden, SC 29020). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Malvern Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (1514 Malvern Hill Dr, Camden, SC 29020).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hermitage Baptist Church Legacy of Faith.
