He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William Brown, Sr. and Dianne Brown. He is survived by: his wife Millisa Jeannine Hughes Brown; his children, Michael "CJ" Christopher Brown, Jr., Joshua Alexander "Alex" Brown, Carrie Olivia "Livi" Brown and Trey Nates (Liz); his siblings, Angela Brown Mills (Jeffery), Justin David Brown and Joseph William Brown (Treda); his grandchildren, Palmer Rose Nates and Landon Bryce Wilson; his parents-in-law, Deborah Moak Hughes and Billy George Hughes; and his nieces and nephews, Taylor Brown, Amber Gardner, Grant Gardner, Elijah Brown and Joey Brown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
