She was predeceased by: her parents, Blenkey Willis and Ola Erma Thompson Greer; and her husband Wasena F. Wright, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Dawne Wright Beasley and Stephen Dwayne Wright; her brother David Willis Greer; her grandchildren, Matthew Stuart Vronek, Christopher Stephen Wright, Rachel Vronek Owens and Emily Wright Thomsen; and her great grandchildren, Timothy David Owens, Isaac Jason Vronek and Iris Wasena Owens.

A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Annandale United Methodist Church (6935 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA 22003).
