He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Claude Ammons, Sr. and Naomi Ross Ammons Lattimore. He is survived by: his wife Connie Lorraine Neal Ammons; his children, Dona Ammons (George) of Ridgeway, Ashleigh Ammons White (Michael) of Lexington and Ricky Ammons (Laura) of Greenville; his stepson Ronald Smith (Jan) of West Columbia; his brother Billy Ammons (Lynn) of Camden; and his stepbrother Ronnie Lattimore (Michelle). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
