He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Freyer and Edna Kero Freyer; and his granddaughter Amanda Peake Glover. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Stockman Freyer; his son Robert T. Freyer (Sissy); his stepchildren, Cynthia "Cindy" Peake (Charnell), Jeffrey Davis (Emma) and Todd Davis; his siblings, Marty Freyer and Anita Stephens; his grandchildren, Josh Peake, Alex Davis and Brittany Furniss; and his great grandchildren, Cameran Peake, Caley Peake, Hope Glover, Reagan Glover, Caroline Glover, Walker Glover, Sterling Glover, Laken Davis, Briar Davis, Colson Furniss and Aubrey Furniss.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harmony Baptist Church (998 Tookie Doo Ln, Elgin, SC 29045). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, Elgin.
