It is with sadness that the passing of Ronald Cleveland Smith of Lugoff, South Carolina is shared. Ronald, born on May 31, 1948, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil C. Smith and Bessie McFarland Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carol B. Smith; his children, Kelly Arledge (Trampes) of Camden and Jason Smith (Lauren) of Elgin; his brothers, Jimmy Smith of Camden and Dean Smith of Mexico; and his grandchildren, Clay Worley (Kaitlynn), Emilee Hinson (Ricky), Wyatt Arledge, Millee Arledge, Ty Smith, Kyle Smith and Andrew Arledge (Amanda). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Operation Christmas Child.
