Thedus Hayes touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jackson and Eunice Trimnal Jackson; her former husband Thomas E. Hayes Sr.; her grandson Tanner Hayes; her great grandchild Chase Newman; her siblings, Curtis Jackson, Carl Jackson, J. B. Jackson and Freeda Hunter; her close friend Bill Simon; and also, David Shealy, Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Hayes, Russell Byron "Buddy" Hayes and Christopher Dale "Chris" Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas "Tommy" Hayes Jr. (Holly) of Beaver Creek, Cheryl Diane Griffiths (Mark) of Camden, Angie Hayes Wilson of Camden and Janet Marie Epps (Tim) of Lake Wateree; her stepdaughter Cheryl Shealy; and her brother Fronice Jackson. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
