She was predeceased by: her husband James Reid; her parents, Elias Pollard and Mamie Kirkland Pollard; and her siblings, Eula P. Shields and Elias Pollard, Jr..
She is survived by: her son James Thomas Reid (Odessa) of Sumter; her grandchildren, Jabari Weaver-Reid of Sumter, Janiyah Weaver-Reid of Sumter and Jamir Weaver-Reid of Sumter; and her siblings, Mamie Singletary, Frances Wardell, Naomi Pollard of Camden, Janette McKenney of Lugoff and Charlie M. Pollard (Jeanette D.) of Cassatt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church (1917 Boykin Rd, Rembert, SC 29128). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (1341 McCords Ferry Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078).
