She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Nalley and Edna Francis Lathan Julian. She is survived by: her husband Clyde Smith; and her sons, Thomas A. Smith (Christine) of North, S. C., Micheal D. Smith of Summerville, S. C. and William E. Smith (Erica) of Easley, S. C.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
