She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie James Lewis and Ethel Powell Cook; and her sister Teresa McCray. She is survived by: her children, Jarvis Cooke, Kenquanda Cooke and Xavieonna Fletcher; her siblings, Valerie Cauthen (Donald), Stacey Payne, Charlie Cooke (Robbin) and Gloria Jones (Lawrence); and her close friends, Latoya Long and Meshell Ferguson. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078).
