He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Hough; his parents, Thomas Leroy "Roy" Hough and Beatrice Goodale Hough; and his brother John Hough. He is survived by: his children, Debra Davis (Butch) of Lugoff, Barbara Susie Mathis (Mitch) of Lugoff, John Greg Creel, Sr. of Lugoff, Larry Creel (Patty) of Lugoff and Dennis Creel of Lugoff; and his sisters, Ann Anderson of Lugoff and Beatrice Fields (Bruce) of Camden. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springvale Baptist Church.
