He was predeceased by: his father Horace Norman Ritter; and his siblings, H. N. Ritter, Jr., Juanita R. Wood, Helen R. Jones, Guy Odis Thomas, Wilber Thomas, G. M. Thomas, George Thomas, Barbara T. Brandt, Thelma Clark and Tyree Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife June Pulaski Ritter; his daughter Ann Ritter Barwick (Al); his grandson Bryan Barwick (Shanna); his great grandchildren, Catherine of Aiken, SC., Sophia of Aiken, SC., Bridgett of Aiken, SC., Rochelle of Aiken, SC. and Paisley of Aiken, SC.; and his sisters-in-law, Pat H. Pulaski and Lennie J. Ritter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
