She was predeceased by: her father Thomas J. Hammett; and her nephew Bass Hammett Willard. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Dale" Smith; her mother Margaret Green Hammett; her siblings, Anita Willard (Gene) and Jeremy Hammett (Angela); and her siblings' children, Caitlin Flannery (Jimmy), Erik Hammett, Malachi Hammett, Riley, Lilly, Katilaya and Daniel.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Living Waters Funeral Home and Crematory (529 Spartanburg Hwy S, Lyman, SC 29365).
