It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James McSwain Cannon of Lyman, South Carolina, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph W. Cannon and Dessie P. Cannon; and his siblings-in-law, Sara Cannon, Eulala, Adger Pace, Sally, Richard Wellman, Kathy, James Bridwell, Choice and Grace Watson.

He is survived by : his wife Marty; his sons, David Cannon (Michelle) and Michael Cannon (Angela); his grandchildren, Steven Kelly (Courtney), Jacob Cannon (Madison) and Gracie Cannon; his great grandchildren, Carter, Paisley and Aiden; and his brother Gary Cannon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Living Waters Funeral Home and Crematory (529 Spartanburg Hwy S, Lyman, SC 29365). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wood Memorial Park (863 Gap Creek Rd, Duncan, SC 29334).
