He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Thornton. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Juanita Thornton (Harmon) of Lyman; his sister Wanda Jones (Scott) of Inman; his niece Kayla Hayes (Matthew); and his nephew Tyler Jones.
