It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Roach of Lyman, South Carolina, born in Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Tom Townsend and Polly Wilkes Puckett; her brother John T. Puckett; and her granddaughter Katelyn Lavender. She is survived by : her husband Troy Burnett Roach; her sons, Kenneth B. Lavender of Atlanta, GA, Gary E. Lavender of Arizona, Matthew T. Lavender (Kristen) of Houston, TX, Timothy S. Roach of Greenville, SC and Brian J. Roach of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Linda Lavender, Kathleen Hansen, Noah Lavender and Luke Lavender; and her sister Patti P. Gray of Gainesville, GA..
