She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anderson Roper and Sarah Ann Yeargin Roper; her siblings, Annie Mae Roper Lusk, Cleo Roper, Leila Roper, Lillie Roper, Ruth Roper Clyde, Ollie Roper Atkinson, Alice Roper Lattimore, John A. Roper, Jr., Martha Roper Vickery, Earle Roper and Mary Jane Roper; her husband Larrion Luther Vickery; and her sons, Richard Neil Vickery and Phillip Lee Vickery.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Vickery Steadman and Dalene Vickery Parker (Pat); her grandchildren, Robert Daniel Parker and Susanne Parker Loelius (Billy); her great grandchild Miriam Grace Loelius; and her siblings, Helen Roper Carter, Julien David Roper, Elaine Roper Marchbanks and Janet Roper Humphries. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for Miriam may be made to the Jordan Baptist Convention to further her brother Dr. John Roper's mission in the Holy Land.
