James Wilson Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, at the age of 98, James Wilson Sr. (Lynchburg, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbett Livingston Wilson and Mae Sansbury Wilson; his wife Agnes Wilson; his son James Wilson, Jr. (Hoss); and his siblings, Eva Mae Carter, Frances Hamlin, Kathleen Washburn, Eugene Wilson, Charles Wilson, Herbert Wilson and Hugh Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Alicia Sweeny of Garysburg, N. C; and his sister Mary Wilson Truluck Barwick.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tabernacle Cemetery.
