It is with sadness that the passing of Lola R. Hurt of Lynchburg, South Carolina is shared. Lola, born on October 27, 1970 in Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Lola will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Lola by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. She was predeceased by: her daughter Melony Johnson. She is survived by: her parents, Jester Ann Brannon of Columbia and Fred Samuel Johnson of Covington, Tennessee.; her sister Lorna "Diana" Cannon; her nieces, Jessica "Ellie" Kast and Amanda Kast; her nephew Christopher Kast; and her grandchildren, Hunter Johnson and Paula "Coker" Johnson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carolina Funeral Home (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Scranton, SC 29591). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Scranton, SC 29591).
