She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Manning Scott, Sr. and Gladys Marie Kolb Scott; and her siblings, Myrtle, Richard, Wallace, Carrie Lee, Everette, Wayne, Gladys Evelyn, Ronald Howard and Floyd.
She is survived by: her spouse Dr. Eddie C. DuRant, Jr.; her daughters, Crystal Marie Gainey of Pinewood and Robin Ridgill Beard (Ryan) of Sumter; her stepdaughters, Dana DuRant Ferguson (Luke) of Indian Land, Dixie DuRant Hardy (Travis) of Sumter and Delta DuRant Tompkins (Kellen) of Sumter; her grandchildren, Carolina Grace Gainey of Sumter, Layken, Anna Marie, Lukas, Huntlee, Clara Clayton and Woodson; and her brothers, F. D. Scott (Gayle) of Summerville, Leslie Scott (Lisa) of Shiloh and Stanley Scott (Susan) of Santee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory (304 N Church St, Manning, SC 29102). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
