She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene R. Ward and Ruth Morris Ward Baker; her significant other Thomas Neil Mishoe of Greeleyville; her brother Roger Ward; and her nephew Brad Freeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Mishoe-Coon (Bill); her grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Coon; her son Tommy Mishoe (Angie); her grandchildren, Marshall and Jordan Mishoe; her child Martie Kennedy; her grandchildren, Eric, Anne and Lee Kennedy; her sister Edna Freeman (Al); her sister-in-law Becky Ward; her nephews, Bobby Jonte (Marge Mahoney), Allen Freeman and Robin Kirtley (Lori Bellune); her friend Louis Reid; Johnny Mishoe (Sandra), Leonard Mishoe, Darrell Turner (Vassar), Faye and Allie. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home (304 N Church St, Manning, SC 29102). A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (1529 Highway 375 Greeleyville, SC 29056).
