She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. "Bobby" Dantzler, Jr. and Mary Sowell Hughes; her husband Delbert Wayne Hughes; and her son Harvey Singletary. She is survived by: her children, Susan Ruiz (Jesus) of Vale and Ronnie Singletary of Summerton, SC; and her brothers, Charlie Dantzler of Florida and Tommy Dantzler of Monck's Corner, SC.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
