He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Joseph Connor and Mary Lee DuBose Connor; and his brothers, John Connor and Harry Connor. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Faye Davis Connor; his sons, Charles "Charlie" Ray Connor, Jr. of Sumter and Corey Glen Connor of Sumter; his grandchildren, Corey Glen Connor, Jr. and Paisley Ann Connor; and his brothers, Joseph Lee Connor (Carolyn) of Manning and Gerald G. Connor of Sumter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
