We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2026, at the age of 77, Charles Mitchell Gardner Sr. (Manning, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Herbert Gardner, Jr. and Billie Hill Gardner; his son-in-law Stanley Ardis; and his granddaughter Rachel Hutchinson. He is survived by: his wife Margie Rose Hoover Gardner; his stepdaughters, Susan Jackson (Kenny) of Sumter, Sharon Ardis of Sumter, Donna Bochette (Ronnie) of Sumter and Michelle Hutchinson (Patrick) of Jacksonville, FL; and his brother Mel Gardner (Linda) of Albermarle, NC. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren.
