He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Odell Coker and Dorothy Isabelle Barrett Coker. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Linda Hacker Coker; his children, Angela "Angie" Coker Haney (David) of Manning, Karen Coker Roberson of Alcolu and Christopher Lloyd Richburg (Casey) of Manning; his grandsons, Henry Clayton "Clay" Hester II of West Columbia and Patrick Carter Roberson (Taylor) of Sumter; his great grandchildren, Kade, Storm, Charleigh, Cordelia, Campbell and Hattie; and his brother David Coker (Michelle) of Manning. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
