He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Mae Farmer; his brothers, Frankie Samuels and William Samuels (Rooster); and his sister-in-law Mary Samuels. He is survived by: his children, Tyrone Wright (Carmeshia), Willie Mae Johnson and Patricia Dunham (David); and his siblings, Joseph Samuels (Cathy), Minnie Pearl Johnson, Agnes McMillian (Hampton), Rebecca Parrott and Ruth Pugh (David). He is also survived by grandchildren; twenty-four (24) great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whites Mortuary (517 N Guignard Dr, Sumter, SC 29150). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rockhill Baptist Church (6569 Old Georgetown Rd, Manning, SC 29102). A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the same location.
