He is survived by: his close friend Helen Emanuel of Paxville; his daughters, Donna Rae Uptagraff of Sumter, Sara Fitsimmons of Sumter and Melissa Gladys Geddings of Florida; and his siblings, Larry Geddings of Mississippi, Marie Davis of Home Branch and Penny Brown of Columbia. He is also survived by six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
