With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Earnest Lavon Ridgeway Jr. (Manning, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2026 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Lavon Ridgeway, Sr. and Pearly Vernice Ridgeway Ridgeway; his son Jason Ridgeway; and his close friend Johnny Richburg. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Cales (James) of Manning; his granddaughter Kelsey Vorhis of Manning; his sisters, Debbie Anderson (Charles) of Manning and Carol Stukes (Van) of Manning; his uncle Ronnie Ridgeway (Dianne) of Coweta, OK; his aunt Christine Daniels of Manning; the mother of his child Barbara Bowers of Manning; and his nephew Josh Richburg of Moncks Corner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
